Iron-On Patch Application Guide (Heat Press Method)

This guide explains how to apply a filmed (backed) Embroidery Patch onto fabric using a hot press machine, in 8 steps:

1. Prepare the patch – Tear off the releasing paper from the back of the embroidery.

2. Prepare the garment – Choose the clothes or fabric you want to attach the patch to.

3. Position the garment – Place the clothes on the hot press platform with the target area facing up, aligned under the heating plate.

4. Place the patch – Position the patch (with releasing paper removed) at the desired spot on the clothes.

5. Set the temperature – Set between 170°C and 204°C (about 338°F–399°F), then start the machine and lower the heating plate.

6. Heat for the right time – Keep pressing for 10 to 20 seconds.

7. Finish heating – Stop the machine and raise the heating plate.

8. Done – The patch is now firmly adhered to the garment.
