  • WHAT CAN I WEAR A LAPEL PIN WITH?

WHAT CAN I WEAR A LAPEL PIN WITH?   You can wear a Lapel Pin with almost anything. Traditionally with blazers and suit jackets, but also coats, a tuxedo, or directly on your sweater or shirt. Just don’t forget that you’ll be piercing the fabric of your clothing, which can leave permanent holes or marks on certain delicate items.     You can combine your Lapel Pin with other accessories, such as pocket squares or a Tie Clip. This adds an extra layer of complexity to your outfit in terms of coordinating your pieces so they complement each other, and none of them overwhelm the others.   The best way to do this is first getting an understanding of matching and color theory here, where you'll also find an interactive color wheel that you can play with. Once you've got the basics in place, you can start playing around with your wardrobe. [View Details]
  • How to Wear Suit Pins?

How Do You Think How to Wear Suit Pins?   There’s only one golden rule for Lapel Pins / Suit Pins: To wear them approximately where the lapel buttonhole is or would be. That’s the upper part of the left lapel.   Some double-breasted suits have these buttonholes on both lapels, but Lapel Pins /Suit Pins should always go on the left-hand side.     Lapel Pins / Suit Pins offer a lot of potential for daring experimentation but remember to keep this to the pin and not their placement. The pin itself, if showing, should run parallel to your lapel instead of straight up or across. This is particularly important for longer stems, where the wrong angle can ruin the effect. Below, the left side is correct.   Left side is correct, since the pin runs parallel to the closed end of the lapel. Right side shows how you should not wear your Lapel Pin / Suit Pins. The pin and fastener can either poke back through the front of the lapel, or remain hidden behind it. It’s a matter of preference, based on what you think and feel in terms of your chosen pin/jacket.     A Lapel Pin is just that little extra touch that goes a long way in personalizing your suit-and-tie look. That oomph that makes you seen. At Kang Jin Factory, we not only make and sell a wide variety of classic Lapel Flower Pins, but also some wonderfully Unique Suit Pins.   [View Details]
  • ENAMEL PINS or LAPEL PINS - YOUR ULTIMATE GUIDE

Enamel Pins or LAPEL PINS - YOUR ULTIMATE GUIDE   You'll learn everything there is to know about the Lapel Pin. From positioning, color matching, what to choose for events, and everything in between.      Lapel Pins have made a comeback in recent years. For decades they were only worn at life’s most formal events, but are now increasingly donned by dapper gents going about their daily business. This has brought complexity back into the art of wearing them, as the strict rules of formal events have been loosened, and the risk of looking amateurish and try-hard is all too high. Done right however, the Lapel Pin is an excellent example of a detail that can give your outfit unforgettable flair.   This guide will give you the confidence to wear a Lapel Pin whenever you choose, and to pull it off without looking silly. So let’s start with the basics.   FORGET ABOUT THE PIN, WHAT’S A LAPEL?   Have a look at any suit jacket or blazer. Lapels are the folded flaps of fabric that run above the buttons and under the collar.     The majority of lapels have a buttonhole, which can either be open or stitched shut, on the upper part of the left-hand side. This is where your Lapel Pin goes.     These buttonholes were originally there to be able to fasten your jacket and keep your chest and neck warm. Over time they’ve evolved to be specifically for the different types of Lapel Pins.   THE DIFFERENT TYPES OF LAPEL PINS?   What is a Lapel Pin? The phrase is a catchall that applies to all lapel accessories and enhancements. There are several different types of Lapel Pin, which differ in terms of their size, fastening, and what they depict.   We’ve detailed some of the most common below:     BOUTONNIERES   The original accessory, a boutonniere is a real flower that sits in the buttonhole, adding an unmissable touch to your jacket. Usually used at weddings.     FLOWER OR FLORAL LAPEL PINS     These pins look like flowers but are made of soft materials like silk, linen, satin, or cotton. They are pinned like boutonnieres, but usually a bit smaller in size and with the advantage of being reusable.     STICK PINS     Stick Pins are made of various metals (gold, silver, copper, etc). These pins are shaped like a long, thin needle that pops neatly into a metal fastener. Depending on the model, the fastener sits on the end or can slide up and down, giving you precise control over placement.     MINI PINS AND BADGES     These don’t have a stem and attach with a clasp (butterfly, rubber. or magnetic) that goes directly under the badge or pin. They’re mostly commonly made from soft (ridged) or hard (smooth) enamel. Know that whereas a pin is for style, a badge carries symbolic value and is often seen on politicians.     BROOCHES     Unlike any of the above, brooches for men’s suits fasten with a hinged pin. They’re usually larger than pins and have a precious metal or vintage element. [View Details]

If you're interested in creating your own Enamel Pins, I recommend starting small and then just grow from there to begin, I like to sketch on procree and then vector on Adobe Illustrator pretty much, you can use whatever program you have available to you, I know some people do like to use Photoshop and other programs, it's better if you vector your design yourself. if you don't know how to use a program like illustrator just send the picture then we will free make as it.   What information do you need to consider in your design? 1. Great Design: To make sure parts where there would be more than one color, is closed in because the lines are where plating would occur and each portion is filled in with only one color, essentially colors don't bleed over each other, unless you want to pay for screen printing. also I don't necessarily recommend starting with super complicated, features such as stained glass, sandglass glow in the dark and so on, especially for your small quantity or try order, because it can be expensive, you could also consider minimizing colors, just to keep it more affordable more colors equals higher price. so you could try to go with the same shade of colors, for example like use one red for wherever, there's red rather than using different shades of red.   2. Specification: Enamel Pins consist of a few details, and these are some things to consider when creating your mock up, and some of those features include size, materials, plating, painted or enamel? used epoxy for the surface or not, and what accessories you want to use the back (butterfly button, rubber button, deluxe clutch, safety pins or key chain etc.).   3. Colors: it definitely include Pantone colors, they are essentially the standard for manufacturer, and just making sure that you're both on the right page with specific colors, most factory use this Pantone book and this one is the coded version. 4. How to packing your Enamel Pin? used the plastic bag, cardboard with opp bag or elegant gift box?   Contact Kang Jin Factory to make the Amazing Enamel Pin You could order a sample or confirmed the sample picture by mail before production, just to try out that specific manufacture, at least before going for a bigger order. submitting payment then send the AI file, JPG or  PNG format, however we often prefer a vectored file. then will send you a artwork for your confirmation, please double check always make sure that all, while the Pantone colors are correct. We will gave you sample by mail for your confirmation after 10~12 days, if the delivery very urgent for you, just check the artwork and pre production sample (you could save a half time at least). then it is time to wait for production, the estimated production time is about 10~16 work days (the exact time as the process and quantity), then will shipping out these goods for you.   Thank you so much for watching, I am excited to share the experience for the Enamel Pins for you, once you see them like physically in person, it's so wild it's so exciting, please subscribe to my channel if you want to see more manufacturing content. • You Could Give Out Recognition Lapel Pins at Different Times or Events

You Could Give Out Recognition Lapel Pins at Different Times or Events     Recognition Lapel Pins can be given out at different times throughout the year, depending on the type of organization. For example, non-profits may give out these types of Employee Pins during fund raising events, charity balls or other formal settings. Some examples of possible Employee Pins are ones for reaching different donation levels, and hours or years of service for your volunteers. Other types of recognition could include employee of the month, receiving positive customer feedback, passing mystery shopper tests, or any other item which you want to formally recognize.     Recognition Lapel Pins Are an Affordable Option for Employee Recognition Programs   In the past, organizations had extra money where they could afford to spend large sums on employee recognition programs. Today, with changes to our economy, that is often no longer the case. Some organizations have even done away with recognition programs because of the expense. However, this is not a good idea, as recognition programs can be used as a tool to keep your employees motivated. When there is not a formal program in place, you may start to notice your top performers slacking off, because they do not see the need in working harder than other average co-workers. Often, their attitude is that they no longer see the point in working harder since there are no rewards for outstanding performances and achievements. One affordable option for your organization may be to start to offer Recognition Lapel Pins.    Most of the time, it is not the cost of the reward given out, but the thought behind it, and being formally recognized in front of the employee’s co-workers.
